Quiet Poker — Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 September 2026
Quiet Poker is a play-money poker practice app. The chips in it have no cash value, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be wagered. This policy describes what the app and its server hold about you, and what they do not.
What we do not do
- We do not track you, and we do not share anything with advertisers or data brokers. The app contains no advertising or analytics software from anyone.
- We do not ask for your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data, and the app cannot read them.
- We never receive your card or payment details. Apple handles payment and tells us only that a purchase happened.
What we hold
Your account. If you sign in with Apple, we store the identifier Apple gives us for you, and your email address if you chose to share it rather than hide it. This is what lets your chips and your subscription follow you to another device. You can play offline without signing in, and then we hold nothing about you at all.
Purchases and subscription. When you buy chips or subscribe, we store the App Store transaction identifier, which product it was, whether it came from the sandbox or production, when it happened, and how many play chips it credited. We keep the state of your subscription and when its paid period ends. We need these to give you what you paid for and to make sure a purchase is never credited twice.
Your chips. We keep your play-chip balance and a record of the transfers that produced it — purchases, daily rewards, and the results of hands you played online.
Online games. While you play in a private room we store the room, who is seated in it, and the results of the hands, so a disconnection does not cost you your stack. Other players see the name and the avatar you chose, and nothing else about you.
Your device. We use Apple’s App Attest to confirm that results sent from a device really came from an unmodified copy of this app. It gives us a key for that device, not an identifier that follows you around.
Server logs. Our server keeps short-lived operational logs to diagnose failures. Room diagnostics are written with player cards and identifiers removed.
What stays on your iPhone
Hands you play offline, your hand history, your statistics, and your chosen card back and table colour stay on your device. They are not uploaded.
Who else sees it
Apple, because sign-in and payment go through them. Our own hosting provider, because the server runs on their machine. Nobody else. We do not sell anything about you to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and its chip ledger while your account exists. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and dispute handling. Operational logs are short-lived.
When you delete your account, what identifies you goes: the Apple identifier, your email, and every session. Signing in with Apple afterwards starts a new account rather than reopening the old one. The chip and purchase history stays, without you attached to it, because tax and dispute rules require those records to outlive the account.
Your choices
- Play without an account: offline play needs no sign-in.
- Hide your email when you sign in with Apple; we then never see it.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store, from Settings on your iPhone or from the Shop tab in the app.
- Delete your account and its chips yourself, from the Profile tab. It cannot be undone, and it is refused while chips of yours are still seated at a table or held by a private room you opened — stand up and close the room first. See the support page.
- Ask for your data or its deletion using the contact address below.
Children
Quiet Poker is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
