Terms of Use

Quiet Poker is licensed, not sold, under Apple’sLicensed Application End User License Agreement, the standard agreement that applies to apps downloaded from the App Store. Downloading or using the app means accepting it.

There is no second agreement. The notes below describe the app; where they could ever be read as conflicting with Apple’s agreement, Apple’s agreement is what applies.

What the chips are

The chips in Quiet Poker are play chips. They have no cash value and no value of any kind outside the app. They cannot be cashed out, sold, redeemed, exchanged, transferred to another player, or wagered on anything. Buying a chip pack buys chips to keep playing with; it does not buy a stake, a balance, or a claim on anything.

This game is intended for an adult audience. This game does not offer real-money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or prizes. Practice or success in this game does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

Purchases

Chip packs and the Plus subscription are sold by Apple through the App Store, in your own currency, at the price shown in the app’s Shop tab at the time of purchase. Payment, refunds, billing questions and cancellation are handled by Apple under the terms of your App Store account.

A Plus subscription renews until you cancel it. Cancel from Settings on your iPhone, or from Manage subscription in the Shop tab. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the paid period you are in runs to its end.

Chips already credited stay credited. Chips are not refundable by us, because we never took the payment — a refund is a matter between you and Apple.

Fair play

Online tables rely on every seat running an unmodified copy of the app. An account used to tamper with results, to automate play, or to disrupt other players’ games may lose access to online play.

Your account

You can play offline without an account. If you sign in with Apple, you can delete the account and its chips from the Profile tab at any time. What that removes is described in the Privacy Policy.

The app is provided as it is

Quiet Poker is provided without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It is a game; it is not advice, and nothing in it is a prediction of anything outside it.
